Flexcut® Premium Beginners Palm Carving Tool Set features the same 5 tools as the standard ash-handled set: #2 x 5/16" skew, #3 x 3/8" gouge, #6 x 5/16" gouge, #11 x 1/8" gouge, and 70° x 1/4 V-parting tool, but with smooth cherry handles fitted with brass ferrules all safely ensconced in a cherry box. One might think the set is not worth the extra money, but the cherry handles and brass ferrules are an upgrade in look and durability, and the box isn’t bad either. Great carving set for beginners and a beautiful add-on to anyone’s carving tools.
