Make an epoxy river table top! In this exciting two-day class, you will learn all about how to work with wood and resin. You will learn about preparing and cutting wood for furniture making, the properties of resin, and the principles of creative design as you cast your very own river table top from start to finish. Class size limited to 3 people.
New to woodworking, or simply want to learn more? Come to our beginning woodworking class, and get a comprehensive understanding of the basics. We'll cover the essential power tools used in your woodshop to make all manner of furniture, cabinets, and boxes, including the table saw, bandsaw, and miter saw. Learn how to safely set up and use the table saw, band saw, sliding miter saw, and more, and make a fun box to take home! You'll also learn about the properties and principles of wood, design, joinery, and glue-ups.
There are few joints in woodworking as beautiful, strong, and satisfying as a well-sawn dovetail. This class will teach you how to make a full and half-blind dovetail with hand saws and chisels. You'll also get the opportunity to make a few of your own, guided by our expert teachers. Learn the intricacies of this great woodworking practice in this exciting, hands-on class.
