Beginning lathe work is easy with this wooden pen making class. Students will learn basic turning techniques on a mini-lathe while making their very own wooden ink pen. Exceptional handouts and instructions will enable students to make additional pens after the class at their homes. You will have a beautiful pen that you can show.
We have had great success in helping beginning bowl turners in this class. You get personal attention from our teachers on any questions that you might have. Safety, Sharpening, Tool Techniques and Finishing Topics are covered. Students complete the class with their very own maple bowl. One of our Best Classes! This is a (2) Day Evening Class
In this bowl turning class you will be guided through the steps of making your very own offset bowl. An offset bowl (pictured below) requires the student to have experience with bowl turning. Students will start with a 7x3 rounded blank and learn how to mount and turn to create a one of a kind bowl. Come check it out and take your turning to the next level.
