Jim is our resident hand tool expert. He will show the students how to layout and cut mortise and tenon joints using hand tools. The process is not as hard as one would think, and the students will go home with the confidence to create joinery the old fashion way, by hand. All tools are provided by the instructor. Learn how to create a beautiful flower and vase on the lathe! This class is designed to enhance your turning, hollowing and sharpening skills. Each student will leave the class with a beautiful vase and flower.
